In Costa Brava, there are a large number of music festivals of all sorts organized every summer: jazz, classic music, pop, rock…Here at Mas Pastora, we love all of them, however our favorite is the one organized in Calella de Palafrugell, so close to our hotel that we could go by foot. We are talking about the Cap Roig Festival.

This year the program is specially amazing. From July 12th until August 21st, artists like Sting, Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum, Katie Melua, but also Liam Gallagher or Ben Harper among other artists will perform at Cap Roig Festival. 

If you are going to spend a few days at Mas Pastora Hotel, we recommend you to choose some of these live concerts and experience the fact of being at the Cap Roig Castle. Russian colonel Nikolai Woevodsky and his English wife Dorothy Webster took refuge here in 1927.

They lived apart from court life and created a space of great beauty. Luckily for everyone, the space has been maintained over time.

Going up there to a concert is to enjoy not only the music, but also wonderful views over the sea. Before and after the concert you have the possibility to have dinner inside the Castle, in a formal way, or more informally in the outside square. The total experience is a must in summer if you are staying at Mas Pastora.
